Dessert wines like sweet Ports, Sherry, Madeira, Sauternes, etc are a different calorie category altogether. Because of higher sugar AND alcohol content, these wines will have more calories. The USDA Nutrient Database states a 165 calorie count for 3.5 oz. They ARE called dessert wines, after all.
