We are at it again… turning tasting notes into a full out party. This time the theme was NW Sparkling Wines. We gathered winemakers, writers, grape growers, chefs, and savvy consumers to share their thoughts on these sparking wines in a blind setting.
Peruse our tasting notes to party vicariously or find some new NW Sparkling Wines faves for a party of your own.
The Menu
mushroom strudels, quiche lorraine, carrot soup with buttered pecans
smoked salmon, cheese and meat charcuterie
homemade meringues and an apple tart provided by our friend Jim Gullo

Oh man… the Argyle gift set has been on my wishlist for some time now. This looks like my kind of party. Thanks for the links to the reviews and tasting notes as well because I have gotten into a rut of just getting my favorite kinds and not trying anything new.

I’m all about the bubbles! Love, love, love them! I had no idea some of these vineyards even produced sparkling wine – I’ll definitely need to check them out! The Roco is a personal favorite!

So many of my favorite bubbles! You know, it’s been years since I’ve had Duck Pond – any of their wines, I believe. I didn’t even know they made a Blanc de Noir Brut! I’ll have to seek that one out.

Sparkling wine is so festive. I love bringing it to parties, and I always have a bottle on hand at home just in case I feel like being fancy for no reason. 😉
